Located in the very desireabe and sought after area of Bonaire this impressive, stylish, contemporary villa has an enviable position right at the very top of the prestigious residential estate of Bonaire - a fabulous location with commanding views across
It has a gated entrance and a long drive with an electric gate that leads underneath the house into private parking which is large enough for four vehicles with direct access to the house via a staircase inside. Steps lead up to the pool and lawn which are at the front of villa and there are large glass panels enclosing the gardens securely.
The magnificent infinity pool has Roman steps and offers fantastic views. Next to the pool is a chill-out area with a cream canopied awning and white sofas with a large cream mattress, a cool zone created with relaxation in mind - a great place for pre-dinner drinks or just relaxing with a good book.
The lawn continues around the side of the villa and there is a gate at the back directly onto the pine-wooded mountain where there are footpaths leading to the La Victoria National Park and down the hillside eventually reaching Alcanada - which during daylight a fine walk.
The open lounge/ dining room has vast floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors designed to capture as much natural light as possible and they face out onto a covered furnished terrace overlooking the pool from where to appreciate that fabulous view below.
The decor throughout is flawless in monochrome, with gorgeous white ceramic floors, bright white walls and sleek black furniture. Touches of colour relief are provided by vibrant modern prints on the walls or from the brightly-coloured red corner sofa.
High white ceilings have designer squared spotlights and hidden air con/ heating vents throughout the villa.
The lounge has low wide sofas and a low lacquered coffee table and there is a feature glass-fronted wood burning stove. There is a large flat screen TV and DVD player. An open floating stairway, designed in black with eye-catching glass panels leads up to the first floor and another down to the lower level.
The kitchen is partially separated and is fitted with white units with a central island that has a large gas hob and double sinks. There are stainless steel appliances, a large American side by side fridge/ freezer and fitted oven and microwave. The white extendable breakfast table and chairs has a small flat screen TV mounted on the wall. There is a washing machine and dryer located in a fitted unit in wall.
Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass windows along one side provide views out onto the lovely pool terrace and gardens.
On the lounge level there is a doorway leading into a shower/ bathroom with a further door into a double bedroom. The bathroom therefore can be ensuite or used as a family bathroom.
The lower level has a twin bedroom with ensuite shower/ bathroom and there is also access to the garage here.
The upper level has an open plan walkway and has three bedrooms that all share the large front terrace that overlooks the pool. There are two twin bedrooms and a stunning master double bedroom.
Here, a door leads into a dressing area that has large wardrobes and two square sinks with a long theatrical mirror . There is a separate wc here and is only partially separated from the main bedroom.
There is a king-size low futon-style bed ( 2m x 1,80m) and an incredible large double shower cubicle inside the bedroom itself with a clear glass cubicle (certainly not for the bashful!) There is also a fabulous modern bath with a decorative rock surround right next to the double bed with a flat screen TV on the wall.
The glass windows have cream electric blinds and there is a workdesk in the corner of the bedroom as well as a static exercise bike.
The remaining bedrooms have identical ensuite shower/ bathrooms with large walk-in showers and modern fixtures and fittings. The only exception is the double room on the lounge level where the bathroom can be either ensuite or a family bathroom.
There is an automatic security system with camera to open the gate from inside the house.
It is located close to the Mal Pas beach and to the supermarket, restaurants and chill out bars of Bonaire.
